Flying:
Detroit is served by a major hub airport, Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), which offers direct flights to/from many international destinations in Europe and Asia.
DTW is about 30 miles southwest of downtown, and transportation to and from the airport can be arranged with Detroit Air Express ($6 each way), or traditional taxi, ride share, or public bus service is available.

Detroit sits on the international border between the USA and Canada and is easily accessible when driving from both countries.
